Despite a global pandemic, Mark joined Incodia at an exciting time two years ago…

During his first two years with us, we’ve made major investments in new printing and production technology at both of our operations in Lancashire and Colchester. We’ve also moved into producing packaging for customers in a range of sectors including FMCG, cosmetics, toiletries and confectionery.

As our Operations & Engineering Manager, Mark ensures the technology we employ is used effectively and efficiently. He’s also one of the key people to alert, should any of our equipment misbehave!

“It was refreshing walking into an existing production facility where everyone is pulling in the same direction. Regardless of your role, who you work with is always important, and I found Incodia full of genuinely good people.”

Skelmersdale-based Mark has over 30 years’ experience in manufacturing, sales and planning within a number of associated sectors, particularly packaging. He regularly draws on the experience he gained working in key operational roles.

“Every sector has its own operational challenges but the importance of lean manufacturing techniques is the same.”

“With a highly experienced team as well as important investments in new technology, we continue to make advances in efficiency and cost control which benefit our customers.”

Incodia’s recent move into FMCG packaging has also seen the benefits of Mark’s lengthy experience. An area which heavily relies on smooth-running operations, Mark’s knowledge and ability to make improvements when required makes him a key asset.

Outside of work, Mark is an avid Leeds United supporter, with the ups and downs of following his favourite team not dissimilar to his Ipswich Town supporting colleagues at our Colchester operations!

He’s also a cricket fan and enjoys nothing more than listening to live bands to unwind at the weekend.
